Damascus is one of the oldest city in the World. It mixed Muslim people and Christians (almost 90% of the population are Muslim). So at this Ramadan period I have no problem to find food at day time.
I was nice to just work around the souq (bazaars). I really like bazaars, it is the best way to get a close look to the local lives. I was stayed in a dorm room in one of the hotel, people come and go everyday. It was funny that there was always Asian stayed in my room.
