Cleared Customs in Tashkurgan, we were officially out of China, but there was still 3 hours drive to the border. So there was a Chinese guard got on the bus followed us all the way to Khunjerab Pass.
At the Chinese side of the border, we couldn't get off. But we saw some of the Chinese tourists there. When the bus arrived the Pakistani side, we have got a very warm welcome. Everybody got off the bus for photos, shake hands with the Pakistani border guards.
Continued to Sost, we definitely picked a right day to go. There was a landslide blocked the road somewhere between the Pass and Sost for 20 days, and we were the first car pass through the landslide point. Lucky!
On the way to sost we (foreigners) needed to pay $4 'toll fee' to the National Park, no receipt received. The fee is exempted to Chinese citizens but not Hong Kong residents. I am NOT quite a Chinese!! Next time I think I am better to tell other people that I am a Hongkongian instead of a Chinese...
Arrived Sodt, clearing Customs and Immigrations, we then legally in Pakistan. We took a taxi to Pasu immediately.
