KKH - Tashkurgan

Text written in: English

Finally, I started my journey along the Karakoram Highway (KKH). I took a international bus to Sost, Pakistan. The bus left Kashgar at about 1:00pm (should be 11:45am) and then stopped for lunch just about half hour later.

After six hours, we arrived Tashkurgan, on the way only stopped 5 minutes in Kara Kul. We needed to stay in Tashkurgan one night. We (me and other foreign travellers) then walked to the Fort, the only "tourist sight" in town. We found out the Fort was walled by local people and we needed to paid CNY20 to get in. Nowadays in China, everything you want to see you need to pay!

We refused to pay and walk to the back of the Fort, when we tried to hike up to a hill there was a guard came out to stop us, and argue with a Dutch man (one of us), and then they fight together... While they were fighting, I run up to the hill to take some pictures...... (@_@)  Do you think I am a good friend or a good mate???
