An Ancient City

Overnight train again from Tashkent to Bukhara, this time the train wasn't as good as in Kazakhstan, has no air condition. Arrived on time at about 6:50am.

Bukhara, is an ancient city right on the caravan routes linked between countries on the great Silk Road. It is dry and hot at the time I was there, 41C!!  5L water everyday still felt not enough.  The old town is very beautiful, nice buildings mixed with few ugly new hotels, and a bit toursty though. I stayed in a 240 years old house, it was cool inside, no need to have air-condition.
