Visiting an old friend

Hi there,

Currently in Santa Ana, El Salvador. I´m staying in a place called Casa Frolaz (http://www.casafrolaz.com/. Casa is the spanish for house, and that´s essentially what it is. The owner is guy called Javier, and its like your a guest in his house. He invites you to come with him wherever he is going. And then when you go along it can be very difficult to pay. Its the least hotel like place I´ve ever stayed, its far more like staying with a long lost friend.

Other than that there isn`t a whole lot to see in Santa Ana. There are day trips you can take, but at the moment the weather is just too bad. There is a shopping mall with cinema near by. Went to the cinema again yesterday. and for the second time on this trip I was the only one watching the movie. The fact that you can buy a pirated copy of new released DVDs for a dollar isn't the best for cinema reciepts.

One things that I have notice about Santa Ana is that there are a few red heads around. Its not really the standard hair colour. Maybe a few boat loads of Irish/Scots got sent here in the bad old days.

I´m thinking of heading to San Salvador to-morrow.
