So now I am in LA, for a quick stopover, headed down towards Venice Beach to check out the pacific sunset. It was a lot colder than I expected. And thankfully I met up with johnnie G, (www.johngilligan.com), from back home, who advised not to jump of the pier.

The flight from Dublin was fairly lively. I was surrounded by a bunch of girls and boy from Dublin, of various ages, who were part-taking in an international Hip-Hop Dancing competion. The flight was more Aer Finglas, than the standard Aer Lingus.

Once I arrived in LA, I did a lot of walking around the airport to get some Quetzals (Guatemalas currency). I was sent from one terminal to the next and eventually a kind man offered me a whole 2 USD worth of Quetzals for 5  USD. I declined. I prefer to get ripped off in poor countries.

My flight to guatemala leaves at 2am tonight, hopefully will get a few hours kip on plane. Got my accomadation sorted in Spring Hotel, so all should be good,
