The Dead Cities

The Hotel I am staying at arranged a taxi for me to take me to the dead cities...ancient roman ruins that unfortunately were not that great...however I made the most of it.  A couple of kids played guide at it was fun.  When I got back to Hama I wandered around the streets of the old city which meanders around the orontes river.  I had dinner at the Orient House...an amazing hotel run by the same person who runs the place where I'm staying at...absolutely grand in all ways...5 star dining at no star prices!
