Surfers paradise update

Still in surfers, spending far too much money. Went to Movie World and Wet n Wild too! Personally i wouldnt rate the parks, not when compared with Florida or maybe even with Alton Towers! Many of the rides were closed and as usual everything is overpriced. $12 for cola and chips! The outback spectatular was great , the food was unbelievable and free drinks all night, one of the waitresses refused to serve Andrew until he had finshed his other pint.... thats how egar and excited we were at the prospect of free drinks! The only downside to the night, for me, was the horses, sheep and cows being trained and treated.... i dont like it, dont get me wrong they all looked so healthy but you cant help but feel bad for paying so much money to see them in a show! Unfortunatley we were not allowed to take photographs inside the stadium, and to my dissapointment Andrew was then asked to be a volunteer! Infront of a crowd of over 3500 he had to carry a boat on his shoulders 100m..... a boatrace (dnt worry no horses were involved in this activity) oh and guess who won........ my muscleman boyfriend. I was so proud, waving my cowboy hat in the air and shouting "yeehaa".

All in all we are having a good time in surfers, staying in the caravan parks in our cosy camper... we love it. One thing we have realised though is that you dont get to meet as many people, you obviously chat to the guys in the camping spot next to you, but its only uninteresting chit chat about travels and weather etc..... the possibilty of meeting more decent and real friends in the next couple of weeks looks gloomy... and its kinda getting us down.

Going to visit Janet (my mams friend) today. Possible bbq on the horizon.....yeehaa. Will be nice to be in a home for wee while. Will keep you guys posted.
