Not wanting to make you think we had time to do Disneyland Paris this weekend, as well as the wedding, I’ve only put the photos here as I couldn’t fit them all in with the multitude of Paris tourism!! We actually went on our day off here, last Monday...very easy on the train straight to the front gates..we got a great deal on tickets by booking online, although we had a small amount of hassle with them not scanning in the machines properly or Ben not bringing any ID!...but we got through into the park to watch the car stunt show, just in time for the heavens to open!..you can see the reflections of everything in the lake of water on the stage, I’m surprised the motorbikes still went out!
But the rain cleared later and although we had intended a short day, we didn’t leave until 11pm! We went on ALL the big rides, even tho we had to wait for some to be fixed!...and I managed to drag Ben on the Tower of Terror, which he didn’t hate too much! Catastrophe Canon was great, as was the Aerosmith ride, the mine train and the Indiana Jones mining carts of Temple of Doom fame!! Crush’s Coaster was the best...a Finding Nemo ride of the surf dude turtle, where 4 of you ride, 2 forwards, 2 backwards but it rotates as you whiz round the bends, excellent dude! I think I’d leave space mountain out next time, as it was designed to rattle your brain around and shake your bones ‘til you felt a little odd, rather than exhillerated! The parade was cool, the steak in the restaurant was perfect and I couldn’t leave without a stuffed Crush...’squirt’ the turtle! All in all, fun for all the adults who’d like to think they’re still kids J
