After a thrilling train journey up through France, we arrived in the hustle, bustle, road works and chaos of Paris just in time to go straight to work!...but after the air miles I’ve done since last year it was a great not to have to get on a plane! There being nothing thrilling at all to mention about work...apart from the fact it was cheaper for us to Eurostar out our 8 dressers and pay for their hotel, than to pay for French dressers!...I’ll move straight on to the good bits!...although the pictures speak for themselves! We went to Notre Dame...amazing inside and fascinating up on the roof with all the gargoyles! We went past the Sacre Cour, the Eiffel tower, the Louve but the only place we spent a day inside was the Musee D’Orsay...with all the impressionists on the top floor I prefer it to the Louve, especially if you’ve never specialised in Baroque art...the Mona Lisa & Venus De Milo are, however, worth the trip! The rest of the time was attempting to speak French to the waiters so as not to offend them (the French seem easily offended and by nothing more than people not speaking their language, or their refusal to speak ours....?!)....and of course preparing for the upcoming wedding as chief photographer!!....
