So we were on the big boat to our next location on dan dan daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa treasure island!!! Mia spent most of her time on the floor on in the loo and i found a comfortable position where i could sit on the chair and listen to my tunes and watch all the ladies and a few gents posse on the front of the boat. It took and and a half long hours to get to the island.
On the transfer boat though there was a guy who really looked like a monkey and was jumping about everywhere with the biggest mullet i had ever ever seen!!!! There was another girl on the boat who obviously wasnt a traveller so i asked her where she was from and when i told her we were from Guernsey she said "oh do you know mat palmer" like we all know everybody...the problem was i do know mat palmer so i found it quiet funny.
Soon we were on the island and we could see why it is a nice place. As we had saved some dough on the other islands this was splashing out for us and you could see where the extara bucks went. In our room we had a double bed, single bed, fridge, 24 hour electric, hot and cold water!!! There was a kids area, turtle pond, iguana sanctuary, tennis court, helicopter pad, CRAZY GOLF!!!!!!!!.
Mia wasnt feeling to good so i went to reception to see if they had any medicince and it turns out they had a nurse!!! So off we went and got soem pills before having the poshest tea we have had in ages. During the main course of the meal the entertainment started and they were getting people up to the front to sing their national anthems and for some reason they thought we were french so i soon got that taken care of and then ran away before he asked for Sarnia Cherie.
Next day was al about doing the craziest golf we had found in the pacific, a course the even tiger woods would have struggled with, after the full english the nurse had told us to eat. First though we took a stroll and saw the turtles and i picked one up before seeing the sign saying do not touch. It was also cool as we walked to get our clubs for the showdown a helicopter landed and it was unreal people just hopping off and sayin cheers to the driver as if they did it everyday...ponses ha ha!
So after having a 3 shot lead i dropped four to finish one shot behind Mia and so losing the game!!! Can you believe it ( Jo and Tom shhhhhhhhhhhh) But as it was really hot we went for a cool drink in the bar and ended up watching the first day of the Adilade Sevens rugby which i had never seen before and really enjoyed. All the staff came out for the fiji games which was cool and the lady from the restort shop was jumping about and waving her fijian flag in the air. Then we saw a parrot.
Next day my health had fallen again and i couldnt eat breakfast so we packed and wandered arounfd the island, it had a dive shop where i finally got my PADI log book, a fish chart and a map of all the diving areas in the islands. Which was nice. Then the guy from Walu BEach turned up and we jumped on his boat for our trip to our last island.
