Day 1 Hollywood

After saying our goodbyes and getting off at the wrong stop on the bart system we caught our plane to LA!!

 

We had to wait ages at the airport for the bus to pick us up and then it was a long trip to our hostel with two blond proper californians..."Shut uuuuuup."

Now let me tell you that america is not as geared up for backpackers as some of the rest of the world. So we booked into our hostel and it turned out that it was a shit hole. Mia busrt into tears, there was a guy living in the room...not a good sign, and it didn't look anything like the pictures on the internet.

So off we went to find a place to stay. It took a while but we found a place called the Beverly Inn which had character shall we say. It was a family run place and they did all they could to make sure we had a good time which was really cool.
