Day 2

Today we went to see about doing our PADI course at the place that was recommended to us but it turns out once a year they do an instructor course which is on while we here. So we went to wait for the bus and once again got picked up by Paul who took us into town via the fish market where he gave us some choice smoked marlin.

We had a mission in town...to find a sim card. We did and it turned out you can't text the uk from them which suked. So we got a $50 phone card which gives you 15 minutes!!! Then I went a bought a sarong and I tell you what David Beckham has nothing on me for sure. Hot dogs over here do not come in buns...they come in batter...odd.

We got the bus home and got snorkels and wandered down the beach to the place we had been told was a good spot. It was a good spot, in the warm water of the south pacific, there were loads of fish and colourful coral. There are a lot of fish here that like their space so when you get near them they dart at you and try to bite your face. It was very funny. Then as I was walking out of the water I was surrounded by hundreds of white fish just swimming around me...awesome.

Then it was back home to get ready for the bbq that night. It was an awesome event that consisted of lamb and swordfish and vodka. It was a great night with lots of banter with the Jane and Sarah our two new mates. My legs also got eaten by a thousand mossies!!!! Booo!!!!
