San Francisco 4

Text written in: English

Today we walked to the pacific ocean through golden gate park. The park is about three miles long and full of really cool stuff. There is a big botanical  gardens and a japanese garden which is very cool indeed, full of statues and buddahs.

We also saw a fantastic stone bridge that looked like a full circle in the water as its refection was so good. It crossed a small river that you could take a pedalo out on. We stopped for a nice ice cream and then walked passed a bison enclosure which just seemed really odd at the time. There were loads of photo shots and students making videos.

Once out of the park we walked out onto the sand and watched the sea crashing against the shore, it was really rough but the sand was warm and the beach was cool. We spent a while on the beach before we decieded to get the bus to the golden gate bridge.

The bridge was fantastic, great view of the city the bay and all that's in between. We spent ages watching the world go by and saw a three car pile up with no major injuries. On one side of the bridge there are a lot of stones with names and messages on just like at Charlton footy ground. I saw one that was appropriare for the time. It just said "gone fishing."

We then saw Night at the Museum with Ben Stiller. It was on imax, the biggest imax screen I have ever seen. It was a good film very funny.
