First day in the Mall

Text written in: English

So the deal is that we get up early to get out the house and we're off to L'efant (Elephant) Plaza to find some pancakes for breakfast...awesome. It prved harder than it looked but we found a great cheap little place called Harriets that did the job.

Then it was off to the natural history museum which was full of mammals and dinosaurs and the biggest rock, crystal and gem collection i have had the pleasure of getting bored in, it went on for at least a mile. They also had  agreat imax theatre with a 3d show on sharks which i think i slept most of the way through. The best bit about the musaum was it was the loudest place every...no snotty nosed so and sos telling you to shhhhhhh here no way.

When we got outside the museum it seemed to have warmed up outside so we deceided to go a have a mooooch around the various monum, ents dotted around the place. First we walked toward the Washigton monument which as Mia pointed out looks like a giant KKK mask. It has orange eyes at the top, but none the less it's an impressive big needle.
