A meeting of like minds

    Up nice and early today as this was the day we took a step further and went to Washington DC. Anjel had to go to work so we said our goodbyes, and soon said our goodbyes to Jack also. The taxi journey to the airport was a good way to see how the people lived in areas we hadn't got to see. I slept all the way to Dc as  had been awake all night watching family guy.. it ruled!!! On the other side Mia called her folks and then we were off on the bus down to L' Enfant Plaza or Elephant Plaza as I call it...ma ha ha I be soooo funny.  Once we got to our destination, which is a couchsurfers house hoseted by Rich, we  where brought  into the warmth because New York was cold but Washington is bloddy freezing!!!!

Rich's place is huge and has  eight people living here, they are all fine but a bit sceptical  about the whloe couchsurfer thing and having people they don't know in their house. So we helped with the shopping and then Mia, Rich and I went to a local pub called Wonderland. It was the decor of a thousand places as all the inside of the bar has been deorated by thing bought from closing bars/shops etc.

It was here that we met Wesley, another couchsurfer, and tried to convince him to move to Guernsey..it may have worked. Generally we talked the talk that you talk when you're talking the talk in a local bar and have had a few beers....you know te wa it is...or the way I am when I've had a few beers. That was about it.
