The wild wild wesht

well helllo,

what have we done since we last talked! well we finally made it down to the south island, and promptly wandered over to nelson to see kims aunty val and uncle eric and the rest of the family and happily her aunty cris had popped over to NZ for a visit to her son and his family so the pavlova was made and we were being well fed and the life of luxury for a few days before finding jobs again. Nelson is beautiful i can see why everyone loves it (and it has wayy more sunshine than blenhim) we went to the beach and went to see all the sights that nelson has to offer we also went to see the founders park, where eric along with others is rebuilding a train engine. had a great time with beautiful weather and we will be visiting again.

we had found jobs in franz joseph but we wasnt getting the hours so we went dairy farming instead !!!!

ok 4am starts and 6pm finishes are not good especially when your covered in poo alot of the time oh and its 12 days on and 3 days off but.... we did do it for two months and we now know we will never do it again. but we did go out for a few visits to the surrounding areas on our days off which was good.

after leaving the farm (yay) we went and did a little tour of otago and seen some sealions and tried to see the kea (smartest parrot in the world) but being smart they wasnt around.

we went to Queenstown and did our bungee's, keith was cool as a frozen cucumber and jumped off (not as beautifully as some but still he jumped) i on the other hand tried to bargin my way out of jumping when i got to the edge i eventually jumped but im never guna do it again we even bought the dvd for everyone to have a good laugh at when we get back.

after 4 days sleeping in the car we decided it was the time to get jobs so we travelled to christchurch to find lodgings and work.

christchurch is great its just like home lol its getting cold now but not so wet, we live with some great people and we have some temping jobs, i currently stick the logos on kids school shirts lol see where our education got us , no kids really stay in school.

right off to bed, its nice to be going to bed at 10 instead of 8 at the latest lol
