beautiful but cold

Text written in: English

hello, i know we havnt wrote in ages but we have been mighty busy.

we first went off on a 4 day tour of the salt plains in uyuni this was after keith got a bad dose of food poisoning we have decided the culprit was a suspicious looking beer can.

the salt plains were briliant and the main reason was the people we were with 3 dutch and one english girl we havnt laughed so much in ages. the guide didnt speak english at all so we didnt get  told much but you didnt really need to. it was a beautiful natural history tour, apparently the salt plains was a big sea once that evaporated when the mountains rose and left loads of salt just milling about at 4600 meters give or take.

we also seen some flamingos on the pink lake and it was snowing at the laguna verde, cue small snow ball fight lol.

on the last night we arrived at the salt hotel (yes made out of salt) and after a few bottles of cheap wine keith decided to make a salt man outside our room, we were just glad we got up before everyone else to see the sun rise the next day it wouldve been embarassing explaining that to our hostess.

on the last day we seen the most beautiful sunrise ever i dont think i have ever seen a green sky it was so cool, we then went to do the obligatory funny photos, there is no perspective on the salt plains so time for much hillarity involving spoons and other oddities.

right see u soon

kim and keith
