throwing ourselves off mountains

la paz is great and cheap one of the best combinations on our trip, just so you realise how cheap a beer costs 60cent and a room for the night is about 4.50 in euros. the main reason for coming to la paz is to get our stamps so we can stay the whole 90 days if we wish, leaving our passports with a highly corrupt police force was kinda worrying but their is just no way around it.

we found a nice place to stay next to the english pub so its just a short stagger home after one too many cocktails.

after searching high and low we decided to go on our most dangerous road trip with gravity it was expensive but worth it cos we found a really tranquillo place to do our volunteering ( we have heard some awful things about other places) the most dangerous road really didnt feel that dangerous when you look back on it but at the time i was slightly cacking it (keith was a way out in front off roading like a pro) whilst i brought up the rear closly followed by the bus. at one point my hands had no feeling what so ever and one flew off the handles when i hit a rock.

on the sunday we decided to go to a local derby match of Boliviar and The Strongest, it wasnt packed but the atomosphere was brilliant, we've never seen so many yellow cards given in a game and finally when a strongest player smacked a boliviar player he was given a red card and promplty smacked another player just for fun, ive never seen riot police so eager to get on the pitch, at the end of the game they had to escort the ref off because the coach/ manager of strongest was trying to do him some serious damage (boliviar won 2-1).

oh we went to the zoo it wasnt the best but not the worst either.
