ancient lines in the sand

in nasca for a quick stop before cusco in order to see the ancient nasca lines eched into the desert floor. this was billed as a highlight to come here and it didnt disappoint. it was a fantastic experience. we took a flight over the lines in a tiny cessna plane built to hold 5 people a so started and aero acrobat show over the lines. thank god we only had an apple for breakfast because i dont think we would of been able to hold anything else given our pilots ability to veer left to right in an instant. got some good photos but i defiantly think the lines are best seen in person, the scale of the thing is astonishing.got the rest of the afternoon now to figure out why the drew the loody things and then its of for our long bus trip up the mountains.
