midnight at the oasis

after escaping land o fish we headed off to do a bit of sandboarding , we thought this would be easy oh how wrong we were (when i say we i mean myself, keith as usual was sandboarding like a pro after a few falls) thinking it would be no harder then standing up we had a crack at one of the small  sandunes that surrounded the town, thank god that we only started on the small ones, on our second go both keith and i did a not so perfect front flip with a twist and ended up on our arses. by the end of the day we decided to climb up the tallest one to watch the sunset (all together ahhhhh) .

oh and we finished off the night at the bar where they were doing a BOGOF and they also managed to rummage around and produce a irish trad cd, so we spent the rest of the night mildly tipsy playing jenga whilst singing like a dubliner.

the forfit for loosing the jenga game was a shot of pisco so naturally keith lost more times than he won.

feeling the after effects of the pisco and sandboarding today but we are trying to keep with the program and we are slowly making our way to cusco.
