Now of corse you know im talking about the feathered type....namely the blue footed and masked.
Hello again, our next port of call is called puerto lopez, a dirt road fishing village further south down the coast of ecuador. Its a quaint little village located in national park. its desert scrub all around and kind of reminds you of the austrailian bush but with lovely beaches everywhere.
Been out to an island best described as the poor mans Galapogos as it has all the bird life as the more famous island does. Was a class boat ride out to it and finished off the day snorkling with colourful fish.
Went trekking thru the park as well were we came across gorgeuos deserted beaches. The weather is so hot its hard to walk about but the ocean is our safe havan.Or so we thought until ..(kim pushes in) i was viciously attacked by small but very stingy jelly fish, i actually thought my leg had been grabbed but i couldnt see what was attacking me, i called keith over and he got stung it was then we truly realised what was going on, luckily i didnt call on keith to pee on me.
got some great pictures of animals and im building up a nice shell collection (one to rival my bundoran one)
Went on a day trip to a place called Agua Blanca which has some Inca ruins and sulpher lakes. It really stinks the water but was good to swim in after a while. Our tour guide only spoke spanish but we met some Californians who translated for us. Really need to learn more Spanish but its coming on a bit every day.
see you soon from a very pink and sore kim and keith
p.s mr freeze has a rival over here
