Week 2.. and its started out good!!!

So first off, its much less hot today so it was easier to do stuff!!  We got a welder to come buy and fix the broken hoop, so the girls actually had a full court game.  Which was much better than last week.  They played their positions, and we had them paying attention to the drills more (its amazing what incentive you can offer if you tell someone you have to run a lap everytime you drop the ball!!)

Also this weekend was VERY good... after feeling pretty sick on Friday and resting... Saturday morning decided to keep resting by going to the beach.  And for this I thank Braun, my roommate at my homestay.  Her staying here for the last 6 weeks has taught her alot of good tricks.. like we went to a 5 star resort (essentially we snuck in.. but they don't really check) and used their pool and loungers.. and went from their entrance to the beach.  It was soooo nice on Saturday that we went back on Sunday and did it again!!! Apparently its not uncommon, most resorts let you come and eat lunch  (restarant is cash system anyways) and hang out, but if you want to use the pool you are supposed to pay....  ah well.. I guess we looked like we belonged there!  Anyways.. it was nice to be outside but not dying of heat!! 

Then Saturday nite, went to a club called Mamba village (its a crocodile sanctuary, but i didn't take my camera.. not really taking it with me when I go out at night.. trying to discourage thevies)  The music was great.. imagine reggae, soca, hip hop, and then a swahili voice instead of an english one.. basically sounds like carribbean music.. and the people all dress like they are american! Its pretty funny... plus the club is outside with a roof... so its quite nice...

So.. this week has started well.. hope it keeps up..
