Mao ze dong

Ye ha,

We made it.  No more flights for three months.  Firts impressions of the city are like any other built up, busy, very clean and cold.  Having just arrived a few hous ago we really dont have any experiences yet. 

Our taxi ride form the Airport initially started off at 450y and we managed to get it for 150y.  (15y = 1 pound.

Crazy driving like most citys, the horn is used as an extension of the cars capibilitys, every oppertunity the horn gets a toot.  There is lots of building going on getting ready for the olympics 2008, new roads. Flying over China it looks very brown, no lush green fields.

The cost of living in comparision is very cheap, a full meal for 30y about 2pounds.

We are tired and today will be a lazy day. Tomorrow is the forbidden city,Tianemen square & the chineese opera.Tuesday is The Great wall. 

The forbidden city and Tiannemen sq.  Absoultly fab. The Great wall is aptly named it is spectacular.
