The Train to Jaipur

I made it to Jaipur. My train was relatively comfortable and only took 17 hours, which was the scheduled journey time. So although it was double the time of my flight, it was definately a better journey.

Firstly, much more comfortable - I had the top bunk, so I slpet till 9am and then napped for most of the morning. Indian Railways 1 - British Airways 0. Upon boarding the train, I was given a pillow, blanket and 2 sheets. Indian Railways 2 - British Airways 0. Then came dinner, which was amazing - roti, daal, rice, 2 dishes plus yogurt. It was a lot of food and only cost Rs 48, so pretty good value too. Indian Railways 3 - British Airways 0. Throughout the journey, vendors selling tea, drink, soup and snakc wander the corridors, which is more than the simple tea, coffe and chocolate (which you have to get yourself) on the flight. Indian Railways 4 - British Airways 0.

My only complainthas to be the difficulty taking photos on the train. We passed through some amazin scenery, but I couldn't take any good photos because of the tinted windows. Hopefully I'll get some good photos later on in my trip.
