Isfahan, nesfeh jahan! the title picture to our brief get-away to Isfahan. a pastry shop nearby the train station in Tehran, i think we stopped in to get some almonds or pistachios Iranians love you! but why was this in English? Tehrani train station it was a madhouse inside! a view of the trains from the walkway above "Thunder Train"!!! i guess it was kind of loud? brother took a picture of me as we tried out the bunk beds in our cabin hanging out outside of our cabins in the tight walkways, sippin some hot tea, charging my camera's battery. everytime someone wanted to pass, we did one of these maneuvers. baradaram, enjoying some hot tea, it was alright, not THE best tea. We stayed in the walkway for maybe half an hour or more looking out the window at the country side by night. We didnt see much except for the small (mud) villages with the few fluorescent bulbs that lit their front doorways. the inner walls to the entrance of our hotel in Isfahan, Hotel Zohreh. great staff, friendly, helpful, very lovely people. Look at the restaurant in this hotel!! amazing! the bro posing with a replica piece of history, yeah!! i said i was tired, so they brought out "the Thrown of Isfahan", what service! beautiful little Isfahani girl, take it offf, ow ow! base to one of the columns at Forty Columns, i forget the title, Chehel-???. The columns had wood on the side, im not sure if they were solid wood or stone inside, either way, amazing looking! just a glimpse of the ceiling of this palace, very decorative. standing in front of the doorway to the palace amongst the 20 columns the bro standing infront of the same door way. very cool how they use mirrors in the decoration of these archways. inside the larger of the palace rooms, the living room, i suppose? gorgeous painted ceiling, very tall! An old Qur'an on display in the "living room" of the palace a vaulted ceiling of another room, again, painted very nicely. brother in the bottom left hand corner posing with the palace. "Traditional Tea House," a tad touristy, but still very cool. stabbing lions in the head with giant knives, a favorite pass time of Persian royalty. Tea and Polaki, an alternative to grain or cube sugar. sort of like little candies made of hardened syrup. a picture of the propietor of this tea house, being watched by the Ayatollah Khomeini, rather similar to another picture i took. this idea of the citizens being watched. fanciest ATM ive ever seen. this bank gives 19.5% interest on your money!!!! this is not uncommon. an old man who is most likely looking for a rug shop where he can sell this rug, they usually bring them in from nearby villages to sell them infront of the big daddy it was kind of interesting that the side areas of this mosque had little shops in them me, infront of the big daddy, AGAIN the brother infront of one of the many arches, these were next to the bathrooms, kind of unlikely place for such nice architecture inside the walls of the mosque ta da DAAA! so tall!!! look at this adventurer! so much detail, very beautiful moi sitting under one of the vaulted ceilings/arch ways hafteh - ??, i forget the name of this spot, where you can see my aunt and uncle standing together in the center. you can make a sound, clap, yell, and it will echo seven times, very cool from inside the enormous dome another shot from under the arch/dome inside the bazaar where theres no shortage of junk to buy the famous See-o-Se Pol, thirty three bridges, it was a beautiful day, lots of people relaxing by the river, theres also a little tea shop at the base of oneside over the river, very cool one of the decadent designs on the walls in the restaurant of hotel Zohreh me! i was actually very surprised at how expensive this stuff was more junk me in front of the forty tower palace inside the living room (?) of the forty tower palace lemon flavored tobacco! come on now, im not into that crazy stuff. engrave ANYTHING onto a little stamp us in front of one of the other bridges now me me again looking ghostly infront of a mountain, which atop sat an ancient Zoroastrian temple Zoroastrians, YEAH! in front of See-o-se Pol. And the sun, making me look all squinty eyed. Thanks. the sun's in our eyes!!! thats one huge samovar!! American basketball players in Iran. Very nice guys. I'm sure they were pretty surprised when they saw this crazy Iranian guy (my dad) wave to them and shout "whats up, dudes?!". The only black guys i ever saw in Iran, likewise we were surprised. train station of Iran siting in the seat of greatness. the fine Iranian car known as Paykaan. See-o-se Pol the girl in this painting from a very good restaurant near See-o-Se Pol (Sharzaad was the name i believe)  looked like a friend of mine the Iranian keebler elf! darker skin, less teeth. Gaz. we were told it was the best of Isfahan! it was actually very good. Persian Pistachios, yumm the dude on this book disgusted me while also making me laugh, so i had to take a picture to remember it soldiers, they were going to Tehran for training
