I saw the new double deckers A380 in Singapore air port, it was ery chunky but not very long. It was an uneventful flight from Singapore to London. The plane had individual LCD screens that you could change the channel and play what ever movies or music you want, when you want. I left Asia on a warm evening, and landed in Fox soup, as they say in the Alps. I kept expecting to see England below the plane as we came into land, but I only saw it when we were 10m of the ground, how depressing, low cloud, fog and mist every where. I headed in to the airport to try and get an earlier flight to Denmark, but to change it was going to cost as much as the flight did, so I had a day in the air port to waste. I headed for Weatherspoons pub for a full English Breakfast, the first in a year and very welcome.

The day went pretty quickly and it was time to head off to the next plane out to DK. When I got to the air port you could deffinietly tell that you were in DK. Everybody seems to be very fashion conscious and well dressed, no dodgy clothing like you seem to get back in England. In the baggage claim area there was a load of Dainish soliders on there way back from Iraq. They were all over 6ft and and very scruffy, long hair and beards, slipping standards me thinks.

I met Line in the air port and headed back to Soro. It only seems like a few months ago since I was there, but it was at least 18months ago. The rest of the girls in the dorm put on a Dainish Christmas meal the next day. Rye bread, which has the consistency of cake, and has a very intresting taste, Herrings (which in Dainish is Sild (pronounced sil) which is also what they call a good looking girl, and a good looking man is a beach lion, mousey brown hair is called Pork Liver Pate colour, very strange) and lots of other traditional food. The weather was amazing, dry, cold, blue skies and hot sunshine, with the odd flake of snow here and there, a perfect north European winter day.

We headed off to a theme park in Copenhagen and walked around the city. Theres an area near the center called Christiania, a squatters settlement. It used to be an army barracks, but over the years more and more of the land has been reclaimed by the city for redevelopment. The rest of the area thats still there is full of shops, street sellers of various things and a street known as Pusher Street, dosen't take a genius to work out what they are trying to sell. They produce there own bikes there for carrying people and things. They have there own rubbish truck and the area is supprisingly clean and well run. Theres a resturant and museums and there are alot of Doctors and lawyers that live there. Towards the back of the area there is a lake and surrounding the lake are houses. The houses have the usual quality design from DK. Intresting shapes and wacky way out designs. Some that look like flying saucers and some that look like Swedish log cabins.

It was getting dark and time to head to the theme park. Its called Tivoli, and in the summer is world famous for the flower displays. You have to pay to get in, but its full of resturants inside and some that back onto the park. In the winter time its dressed up as a winter wonderland with roasted almonds, sweets and hot dogs, gift shops and lights every where. It was a cold night and on some of the rides it was very cold, there had been a few snowflakes earlier in the day, and it had still been trying to snow all day. The view from the top of one of the rides over Copenhagen at night was spectacular, seeing all of the lights over the city.

The next day it was time to head back to the air port for my flight back to England. I said good bye to Line at Departures and managed to find some Herrings for Mum on the way back. I was the only traveller on the plane, the rest were all business men coming back to England from meetings. The skies around Heathrow were exactly the same as when I landed there a week ago. I met Dad and Pa in the air port and headed back home for the first night in my own bed in a year.
