Nepal for the second time. Free visa.

Text written in: English

It felt strange being back in Nepal again, after being in Thailand for a month. At the airport I was told that as I had stayed in Nepal for more than 15 days I could get a free visa which was good.

Mum and Mark were going to join me in a few days time so I sorted iut a few things for our trekk before they arrived.

When they did arrive I think they were feeling the same as me when I got into CHina for the first time, majour culture shock. It takes a few days for it to easy off a bit but the first few days can be intresting. It was good to see some familiar faces again, having spent a month before with some other familiar faces.

We headed up to a Bhuddist temple on top of a hill over looking Kathmandu, nicknamed by the tourists as the monkey temple, because of the monkeys that live there. There were some spectacular views from the top over the city and some of the buldings on top were pretty good as well.

It was time to head off on our Tibet trip early the next morning, so we packed light and stashed some bags at the hotel to make our trip a bit lighter.
