Rock the Kasbah

Spent the day walking -- first along the ocean, then up to the Kasbah, where we met a nice girl from Germany, who joined us for the rest of the day, followed by an exploration of the Hassan Tower and the Mausoleum to Mohammed V, then a beautiful scenic walk to the Chellah, a beautiful necropolis with ancient ruins and exotic gardens, then to the Royal Palace, and finally back to the new town for a stroll through the medina shops, very active again this evening. Another lovely sunny summer day. Pictures to come tomorrow.

Avons passé la journée à marcher -- premièrement le long de la plage, ensuite jusqu'à la Kasbah, ou nous avons rencontré une fille d'Allemagne qui a passé le reste de la journée avec nous, après quoi nous avons exploré la Tour Hassan et la Mausolée de Mohammed V, ensuite une belle marche jusqu'à Chellah, une impressionnante nécropole avec des ruines anciennes et des jardins exotiques, puis le Palais Royal, et enfin le retour à la nouvelle ville, pour déambuler à travers les boutiques de la medina, toujours très occupée ce soir. Une autre merveilleuse journée d'été ensoleillée. Photos demain, promis!
