stop the car i am scared!!

To sum up SM de los Andes...it is pretty, cute, comfortable and quirky but with a light sprinlking of Argentinian craziness....to be honest i liked this place a lot. They had a old London double decker bus in the main sqaure...what more could you want lol

We quite quickly realised that to do what we wanted to do in the small amount of time we had...we were going to want to hire a car and drive into the National Park. So the plan was set..well kinda, we found a car for a reasonable price, thanks a lot to having in our company a beautiful lady with a charming smile which the Argentinian car rental owner couldnt resist...he even upgraded our car from a shitty little banger to a big boy car and gave us some of his CDs to listen on our journey....bless!

As is the case with us we planned to leave before sunset so we would have half a chance to find the campsite and set up camp...but in true us style we ate cake, drank coffee and didnt leave until gone 11. With Andrew behind the wheel, me with the CDs and Katy in the back we set sail....into the dark woods, our fantastic idea of telling ghost stories and horror tales proablly wasnt the best thing to do especially when me and katy had to get out of the car in the middle of nowhere and check where we were...! We eventually found the campsite, the only ones there, adding to the weirdness and we set about cooking sauages and drinking wine until the wee hours...and Katy didnt want to go toilet just in case of the witches lol

We spent a fantasitc few days in the Park...going to see a waterfall and to a thermal springs which were small but hot and generally being all boy scout like, making fires, drinking wine and eating lots of food....the views were amazing and hardly a soul around, apart from a farmer or two. And ten out of ten for Andrews amazing ability to dodge pot holes the size of a small country..even in the dark....a boy racer in a previous life i believe! lol
