While some might opine, "Do people read The Da Vinci Code  and then write to Dan Brown asking if they can crash on his Monsa Lisa embossed couch ?"

I would say that we shouldn't be surprised by this simple request. After all, I'm throwing myself out into the goodwill of the world and the world will in turn return requests. So for anyone interested: I have some books I could lend people, plants you can plant-sit if you need some color in your life and some songs that I could sing to help you go to sleep. Depending on my mood I might even buy you a beer if you find my story, e-mail me and also happen to be in Vancouver. I mean that's bribery I know, but a literary career has to start somewhere.
