Spring 2006

We have a Jacaranda tree, which was a major feature for me when we first saw the place : in November it makes the outside purple. Everything gets covered in blossom.

You can see some of our kitchen. It is about to be all ripped out at the other end of November. Stevan's stone mason's mate William is probably about to start work on the carcasses for our new cupboards and kitchen island this week. Then Harry will come by with some new reconstituted stone bench tops for us. Then I can have more space for cooking and an audience sitting at the kitchen island.

We also have a grape vine, which is also a feature. We.haven't managed to convert it to Cotes du Rhones just yet
