After the beautiful Puerto Varas, I crossed the border to Argentina in the beautiful Bariloche. The route takes in some fabulous Andean mountain scenery.
Bariloche is set in the middle of the argentinain lake district and I spent a few days seeing the local sights. I took an excursion to the Black glacier, I would love to tell you why its black but the tour guide spoke no english and I couldn't understand her formula 1 paced spanish. Anyway, check out the photos. I also took buses to the local viewpoints and scenic viewpoints. Bariloche is also famous for its choclate and I trully indulged myself...
After Bariloche, I went to San Martin de los Andes along the famous 7 lakes route but the weather wasn't too hot so I didn't get the most out of the views. In San Martin, I did a few trips into the local lake scenery and generally just ate a lot. Life was pretty good...
Next stop was Neuquen to meet a friend from the Inca trail in Peru.
