Yesterday, we had a six hour bus journey to Cuzco, where we are now. The outskirts of the city here are dreadful, but the city centre is very beautiful with it´s wonderful colonial architecture and little cobbled streets. Tomorrow, we go to the Sacred Valley and Ollantaytambo, from where the hike up the Inca Trail begins on Saturday morning. So, it´s only a few days now until we will see Machu Picchu. Let´s hope the weather is kind to us and we see it at it´s best!
