Nothing to declare in Lisbon

Since I ended up extending my time in Porto, I left myself almost no time to really see Lisbon.  It's a shame because from what I saw, it is also a really cool town with a lot of character.  I will have to go back there at some point.

While in Lisbon (for one night), I surfed with a very nice guy named Ricardo.  We went out for a proper Portuguese dinner, checked out some of the interesting little bars all over the Barrio-Alto area, experienced a weird and historic coffee shop, and checked out some of the sights by night.  Plus Ricardo entertained me with stories from his adventures in the middle east.

The next morning, I had to get up retarded-early so I could head downtown to see a handful of things before having to head back to the bus station to catch an 11am bus to Sevilla (oh yeah, I finally figured out how to do that!).  The rest of my day was spent on the bus.  Brutal.

To summarize: Lisbon is worth coming back to see properly.

Photos / videos of "Nothing to declare in Lisbon":

This is a shoe store! What the hell? This is also a shoe store! What the hell? Another weird store in Lisbon. Not sure what this one is supposed to sell but it is cool. Lisbon's cable car. Lisbon's golden gate bridge. Cool decor in the bar we went to. Bairro Alto Ricardo (my host) in a cool coffee shop. Some fountain. Aparently the biggest Xmas tree in Europe. First, I noticed some guy releasing five white dogs, then I noticed that the guy was a story unto himself. Apart from the fact that he likes white dogs, all I know about him is that he has nothing to declare and I guess a sense of humour.
