For sunset I climed up Phnom Bakeng - a large hill near Angkor Wat which gives stunning views over the jungle. On the way up I got talking to an American guy and his wife who told me I should watch out for the driving in Phnom Penh, the capital, where I was heading next. They went on about it so much that I was actually quite looking forward to comparing it with Saigon or Hanoi. (They were adamant that from what I'd told them about Vietnam, Phnom Penh was either the same or worse!)
At the top of the hill I bumped into with Vicky, Claire and Kate who I'd met earlier in the day at lunch outside the Tomb Raider temple. We watched the sunset, along with about 200 other people (it's a popular place for sunset!) and then made our way back to my guesthouse which, by coincidence, they were also staying at.
After I'd taken a much needed shower, I went for a walk round town to find a restaurant. I ended up bumping into Kate and Claire again and we went to a bar/restaurant that they heard was reasonably priced. The food was quite good but the highlight of the evening, without doubt, was the crocodile pit!
