Guiness for Health

In the 60s, Guiness was prescribed for strength, given to pregnant women for what ails them, and given for stomach upsets with juice to children. Joris and I attempted to see how healthy we could get as we spent four days in the far northwest of County Donegal.

Photos / videos of "Guiness for Health":

Slieve League, the highest sea cliffs in Europe. At least the wind would blow you away from the cliffs. The weather was extremely changeable, with rain wafting in at any moment. One Man's Pass, which I did not attempt to climb. From the hostel we stayed at in Malin Beg. The Lonely Planet calls this Glen Gesh pass one of the most beautiful sites in Europe. It was pretty, but c'mon. We went to an traditional Irish music concert in Dunlewy, very good. You never know who is a famous traditional musician when you walk past them, like this man. I only made it up halfway Errigal, the 2nd highest peak in Ireland at 750m. It was like walking up a swamp.
