I think I have seen as many buddhist temples/pagodas(?)/tombs as I have chapels at home at this stage (and that says a lot as im an avid mass goer). There are so many here that I have decided to give up sight seeing and chill out for a few days. Am now in Hoi An which is a lovely wee town but has as many white people as vietnamese and there are 200 tailor shops where you can get anything you can dream off made up in a few days for a few dollars. The problem is that they practically drag you in to the shops by hounding you as you walk down the street and after the 50th time I was exhausted so I stopped off for some dinner. 3 or 4 small kids came up to me to try and sell different things and one lad wouldn't go away. As I sat with a drink he admired my necklace and then stuck his hand down my top (he was only about ten years of age). I was so disturbed and felt violated so in very mature fashion I bought stuff off another seller in front of this lad and then stuck my tongue out at him. I'm not sure if that was the proper course of action but it made me feel better.
