Busting a move to Lebanon

Text written in: English

After a day of me being sick in Hama (I think the last time I was sick was in South America, so I was quite proud of myself that I had lasted that long!), we went across the border into Baalbek, Lebanon.

These ruins are apparently the highlight of Lebanon but I think Icchan and I have seen a few too many ruins lately and weren't that impressed...

But we were still impressed with Lebanon. It didn't feel as 'Arabic' as Syria if that makes sense. People seem to be not as conservatively dressed and are more into fashion and being 'cool' it seems. Lots of signs were in English and people generally spoke it very well which was quite different from Syria.
