Iguassu Falls

Text written in: English

Iguassu, in southern Brazil, is home to the worlds 'largest' waterfall [by volume. We spent 2 days there - and marveled at the natural setting and dramatic falls. Our guide howerver, upon seeing the falls that first morning exclaimed "Where is the water?!!" It seems that we were seeing these falls - the certainly were impressive to us - at thier lowest flow in years. In fact it was making the news that the falls were 'dry'. [Yes a live feed news van actually set up shop in front of our hotel ]
