Flight to Cairns

Holidays at last!  I was off to the domestic airport on the airtrain.  Cost me $16 from Corinda and only took me about an hour all up to get there. 

The flight to Cairns was nice.  I was sitting on the left side of the plane in a window seat so i got to see the ocean side as we flew north along the coast.   It got more cloudy as we got further north so I didn't get to see that much of the reef, but I saw some of it.

Cairns is so green!  As we were flying into the city it was like flying over England (well apart from the mountains and the rainforest and the heat... okay nothing like England really).  Anyway the grass is really green and all the plants are rainforest ones so they're all glossy and bright green..

Kirin was at home when i got to their place so she took me to Cairns Central shopping centre so I could get some new boardies.  Then when Peter got home from work we went driving around Cairns a bit.
