Finally home!

So, 35 hours after leaving home, I finally made it to Brisbane.  The moral of the story is, a) always leave more than 2 hours for international-domestic connections, especially when australian customs, and b) never fly to brisbane via sydney.

It's so nice to be able to go outside without a coat!  The sunlight is so bright here, I haven't stopped squinting :)  The sky is lovely and blue, I don't care if there is a drought, it is so nice to see bright blue sky again ;)

I spent the rest of the afternoon catching up with my family and managed to stay awake until about 9.  I felt quite awake considering!  I slept like the dead that night though :)
