Back in civilisation... kind of???

Having driven on and on and on we arrived at Norseman. I had pinpointed this on a map as somewhere where we would be almost in Perth, back in a place where the town consists of more than a ,man chewing on a ear of corn, yarning with his pet kangaroo and oiling his shotgun whilst swinging on his rocking chair They had showers and tv's..... Enough said.

However, I have neglected to tell you enough about the nullabor. This road is unbeleiveable...... I estimate we killed several dozen rabbits and swerved at least 4 times for kangaroos that would have eaten Iris for breakfast.  You cannot comprehend this road.....

Anyway, like I said, we beleived we were all but chilling at Brits (our mate) house, the beers were going to be good and surely only a couple of hours away after two days of pain..... then  you see a road sign. Perth 760 kilometres. You would think this would be depressing but it wasnt that bad. It seemed like it would be a gentle sunday drive after everything we had done. If you think that is the equivalent of driving from York to London and back. Drop in the ocean.....
