Arrival into Hamburg, Germany

Well, what a celebration when I got into Hamburg.  Come to find out ther was a huge cultural festival/parade when Arik and I got into Hamburg.  We walked around town today for a few hours before he caught his train to Berlin and I caught my train to Krakow.  We visited some of the sites and folllowed the parade.  He left a few hours after and I marched on around Hamburg.  Went up a spire that was built for the WWII veterns, a memorial if you will.  It was 775meters up in the air and it was a beautiful view of Hamburg.  From there I walked around some more, and found a SuperCenter Wal-Mart and had to go in and buy some shampoo and conditioner and a bottle of water all for 4€! Not too shabby at all.  From there just headed to the train station to catch my train from Hamburg to Berlin, and then connect to the night train to Krakow.  Over all a slow day, but the parade of cultures was amazing!  From mostly S. America though, loud music, people dancing in the streets.  But to counteract that festival, on my way back to the train station, there was a protest of muslims about what the pope said I believe it was... so what can ya do.... fun either way!
