Girls Road Trip Weekend

Well it was Bank Holiday Long Weekend and five of use girls decided to get out of London hustle and bustle and do a wee Road Trip to Bath and around.. We had planned to leave London 8.30am Saturday morning  but a bit of a drinking sess the night before had us a bit behind schedule.... Laura & myself collected our little beast of a car, Sky Blue Ford Festiva Station Wagon. Now to think that we only had a Atlas of maps was not a concern to us as we only had to go to Hook to pick up Kat on the way. Should have been a 40 min trip but a few wrong turns here and there had us once again running way behind schedule!!!!!.

Finally arrived in Hook and were that excited to be there that we didn't really read Kat's directions to her house, so we have pulled into this little court, found number six, I've backed the car right up to the front door and we started beeping the horn. After a few minutes Kat had not come out. Wrong street, Whoops!!! After a few fits of laughter I managed to high tail it out of there and to the correct address.

Now this was no road trip. Each person was given a item of food to bring so we had Sausage Rolls, Banana Cake, Cucumber Club Sandwiches, Choc Chip Cookies, a Platter of cheese, dips, salami, olives, etc to die for and a few other little goodies.

After getting lost again we did finally manage to get to Bath around 2pm and go for a wander around the streets and to the Roman Baths.
