Arriving in the big smoke!!

A two hour early morning car ride saw me saying good-by to Marco and Jude and was on the plane to London... After a quick walk through customs (no-one even on the desks checking bags) I was on the tube heading towards my hostel in King's Cross. I've arrived, I'm in London!!!!! With a 22kg backpack and another bag in toe I slowly manouvered along the streets 'til I got to my hostel. Caught up with a girl called Janet for Melbourne in the first few days and we did a few of the touristy things. Also met up with some of my other 'In London' buddies. It was good to meet up with some fellow 'no idea' travellers as I had really landed myself over here with no job, no house, no friends and no idea!! 

Gus is another piece of my story over here. He is a mate of a mates back home who kindly took me in and gave me a roof over my head and made me feel at home.
