Great Views and lots more monkeys...

Text written in: English

So, we took a short bus ride to the very small town of Khiri Khan.  This is primarily a small fishing village, no touts harassing you, very few people... We hiked up many hundreds of stairs to the top of a Wat here and had the best view of a huge bay and surround islands.  See pics below...  I don't know why no one comes here either, this is the third place we've been with no real tourists in town.  Moneys everywhere again.. monkeys are seriously the coolest little things ever... they are such little shits!

On the hike down it started crazy pouing (again) and so we pulled out the umbrella until all the monkeys started eyeing up that bad boy as a prime spot to jump on to.  Then we got completely lost by some air force base and stopped and had dinner at what I am pretty sure was a daycare/restaurant.  After dinner, I met a couple of girls from Marseilles and chatted with them for a couple of hours, nice to know that my french is actually still fluent after all these years of non practice.

Anyway, not a very exciting day really.  Tonight we are off to Koh Tao for a week or so to soak up some sand, sun, snorkelling and zen moments (and possibly much more beer).
