Jason discovers the joys of the bidet

Ellen's coin toss into the Trevi Fountain 5 years ago must have worked, because we arrived here as our next stop (backpacks and all, a bit of a relief considering we flew with Iberian Airlines). It was Jason's first time in Italy, he refused to throw any coins into the Trevi as we read that the second toss means you'll fall in love with an Italian man (they don't do it for him!)

Did the usual sites (refer to our pics, no details necessary). Food was great, we are now carb-loaded to our eyeballs. Bet Mr. Atkins was never popular here. We found Italian people extremely lovely and helpful despite our lack of Italian, but we werent sure if this was simply relative to our previous country...

One curious night, Jason decided to try out the mysterious bidet that had featured in all our bathrooms since we hit Europe. He was a little nervous at first. Now he is a convert and can't remember how he coped without one.
