home life

after putting on at least 3000km on Ps car we finally settled down in sydney with his sis and her family (husband, 2 kids, a dog n a bird) for yet another culture shock. this time it had to do with being around kids full of energy, drooling dogs, family laundry day and home cooked meals. not exactly the life of a backpacker but honestly, maybe a needed break.

even tho suburbia was our home base, we still managed to poop around the city pretty good. pics tell a better story than I have time to put words to, but it's been more great times.

we hit the modern art museum (free. tho not such a fan of what we saw - seems every so-called modern artist is sticking penis' in their work these days....don't have an issue with the things per-se...but isn't this just a little troublesome?), finally got pics of the opera house, went lawn bowling with P's ex-coworkers (great fun! for sure I'm a fan of any 'sport' that you can wear flip-flops and drink beer at the same time), ate at the fish market, treked along the coast, met up with a friend I met in brazil, went to a portuguese braai  (bbq)  (aka: the uni-brow party... never saw so many dark-haired guys with thick eye-brows), played ping pong, and pretty much got lost EVERYWHERE we went.

it's all good.....
