just when I want to be all judgemental n stuff....we end up camping in this sweet spot overlooking the ocean, at the end of a long deserted road, with 1 other couple in the area. and all for free. (magic word in my book)

before that, we putzed down the coast, found amzing views and saw some seriously huge waves cause it's SOOOOO windy around here! (biggest waves I've ever seen?). also hiked to a waterfall, saw a movie in town (no power at our free site tonight :), saw an owl and 2 koala bears in the wild. pics tell a better story than I could - especially about those views:

yeah....don't forget...idiot. first glimpse of cool coast line happy hikers onn the way to this lighthouse not-so-old-island really old island more things that can kill you on the way to this waterfall extreme lushness and fern TREES (isn't australia all desert??) no caption needed.... classic coast along the great ocean road petros on a pedestal (kidding) movie night, in a church, surrounded by locals. surreal. road to oour camp spot still smiling petros (thank god he's liking this camping thing so far) view from our camp spot (doesn't suck) the spot
